Call: International Climate Protection Fellowship

Application deadline: 1 March 2020

 

The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation grants up to 20 fellowships to prospective leaders from non-European transition or developing countries, who are active in any of the following areas: scientific, engineering-based, legal, economic, health-related or social aspects of climate change. The young climate experts will come to Germany for a year to work alongside a host of their own choosing on a research-related project.

Call open: 2020 SCOR Visiting Scholars Program

The application period is now open for the 2020 SCOR Visiting Scholars Program.This programme is open to any Ph.D.-level scientist who have time available to spend teaching and mentoring in a developing country for two weeks or more.

 

Applications are due by 1 December 2019 and selections will be made by the SCOR Committee on Capacity Building by 1 January 2020.

AIM AND CONTENT OF THE WINTER SCHOOL

ROV Lab – University Bremen – MARUM, Germany, November 19th-21st 2019 – DL 7 Oct 2019

The ROV Lab workshop is organized within the scope of the EurofleetsPlus training program and will be held at MARUM – Center for Environmental Sciences, University Bremen, Germany. The three days workshop (19th-21st of November 2019) is offered to European research-ROV Pilots/Technicians with no or only basic experience and knowledge of ROV operations and technology.
