Living Planet Symposium 2019: Earth Observations for Human Health - Abstract Deadline 11 November 2018

The organisers have announced a special session on “Earth Observations of Aquatic Systems for Human Health” (topical session D.1.5) at the upcoming 2019 ESA Living Planet Symposium (13-17 May 2019) in Milan, Italy. This is related to the POGO-supported working group on Earth Observation for Ecology and Epidemiology of Water-associated Diseases.

2019 Special POGO Visiting Fellowship for Ship-board Training on an Antarctic Deep Water Rates of Export (ANDREX) Cruise

POGO is pleased to announce that in partnership with Plymouth Marine Laboratory, it is offering a POGO-PML Visiting Fellowship for training on-board an Antarctic Deep Water Rates of Export (ANDREX) Cruise.

 

The selected candidate will have the opportunity to visit Plymouth Marine Laboratory (PML) for one month prior to the start of the cruise to participate in cruise preparation and planning; and to go on the cruise (14th February to 10th April 2019) to help make biogeochemical observations (carbonate and oxygen chemistry).
