SOLAS Workshop on Remote Sensing for Studying the Ocean-Atmosphere Interface,13-15 March 2018 Potomac, Maryland, USA

The workshop will facilitate the exchange of ideas and information about developments in remote sensing that can provide new information about the ocean-atmosphere interface, and will help forge collaborations among workshop participants and with the wider community.

 

GEOTRACES Training workshop on metal speciation and isotopes, 12-17 May 2018, Xiamen, China

A training workshop on metal speciation and isotopes in the ocean for GEOTRACES and beyond will be organized by State Key Laboratory of Marine Environmental Science (MEL) on May 12-17, 2018 in Xiamen, China. The purpose of this workshop is to train graduate students and professionals who are interested in or will study trace metal and isotope biogeochemistry. It is hoped that the workshop will also serve to enhance capacity of GEOTRACES-related studies. The training will include in class lectures and hands-on experiments in the laboratory equipped with a variety of measurement tools.

SOLAS Summer School 2018

SOLAS has opened the application for the 7th International SOLAS Summer School, 23rd July - 4th August 2018, Cargèse, Corsica, France.

The SOLAS Summer School brings together over 70 students and 15 world-leading international scientists, in a variety of fields, for a combination of lectures and practical workshops.
